With deep and profound sorrow all the officers and staff members of Defence Estates Organisation, mourn the sad demise of Shri Inderjit Singh, IDES: 1959 (Retd) Ex-Joint Director, DE SC, Pune on 22nd May, 2020. Shri Singh joined the IDES during March, 1960 and held various assignments during his career in the Cadre and superannuated from service on 31/05/1990.

After completing my
After completing my Foundation Course, I joined NIDEM at Meerut in Dec. 1989. Shri Inderjeet Singh ji retired from service the next year. Never got a chance to meet him during his service. Later, during the annual meets of retired IDES officers at Delhi, got opportunity to meet him more than once. A very pleasing personality who was well respected by all our seniors. Hie daughter at Pune says that he was always connected to the IDES fraternity throughout his life.May God rest his soul in peace.
